Dear customers and neighbors,
It's been more than a century since Ameriana opened its doors in Central Indiana. Knowing that can be a great comfort during today's economy. Because, through 122 years of good times and bad, our bank has endured by following one simple rule of thumb: if it's good for the community, and good for our customers, only then is it good for us.
Ameriana invests locally. We conduct business prudently. We are honor bound to protect and preserve our clients' assets. I think you'll also find that we're the kind of people you like to do business with.
Today we're focused on delivering concrete ideas to make your money life work better. We've added free services, like text and email account alert messaging, to help you stay on top of your family's spending. New savings tools, like our "loadable" certificate of deposit, will make you feel like you're making real progress toward your goals, every single day.
I joined Ameriana in 2005 to continue this company's long tradition of community banking, and I'm privileged to work with a team of talented individuals who work constantly to help our customers make the most of what's important. They know, as well as I do, that our customers are the real reason our organization exists, and that we must do everything possible to keep people like you at the center of everything we do.
While the current economic climate is certainly challenging, all deposits in our institution are insured up to FDIC limits. And despite the news stories of a "credit crunch," Ameriana continues to make personal, mortgage and commercial loans to qualified borrowers.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to stop by one of our banking center to speak with one of our associates. Whether you're currently a customer, or not, the advice is always free.

President and Chief Executive Officer
P.S. As a part of its grand opening celebrations, Ameriana commissioned photographers to capture the people and places that make us proud to live and work in our communities. The photography, along with a video documentary, are on permanent display in our Greenfield, Carmel, Fishers and Westfield offices.
To watch a preview of each video documentary, please click on the covers below. Request a copy of our video documentaries. We'll be happy to send you one.
