We've been notified by our online and mobile banking vendors that Apple has issued a security patch for all of its operating systems - iPhone, iPad, iPod and OSX (Mac desktop) platforms. If you have an Apple device, you may have already received this "Software Update" notification under "Settings." This patch will reduce the vulnerability of any of your devices to any malicious use of your Web, email or app traffic on your device. We encourage you to take advantage of this free update to protect yourself.
Although this is an issue with Apple, we'll continue to monitor the situation closely and do everything in our control to help ensure a secure experience for all of our customers. We'll also be sure to inform you if any more updates become available.

Therefore, please stop by any Ameriana banking center to receive your free, customizable, Instant Check Card at your very earliest convenience. In the meantime, if you notice any inconsistencies with your account, please contact us as soon as possible.
