Michelle Back, Vice President - Commercial Lending

Michelle has been part of the Ameriana team since 1998, specializing in commercial lending for the past five years. Her experience in titling, escrow, surveying and commercial construction lending help her fully understand her customers' needs. Her commitment extends beyond helping customers receive loans - she provides them with financial guidance and planning, allowing her to develop strong customer relationships. Michelle is involved with several organizations, including National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and Indy CREW. She is the First Vice President and Secretary for the Hancock County Builders Council, a past Board Member and 14 year Ambassador for the Greenfield Chamber of Commerce and a founding Board Member of the Greenfield BNI Chapter. Jim Buell, Vice President - Commercial Lending

Jim is located in Ameriana's Carmel Lending location and has been in banking since 1977, focusing on commercial lending for the past 25 years. His experience has given him unique insight into the underwriting and documentation processes for a wide range of commercial projects, which include retail, multi-family, manufacturing, land development, residential construction and special purpose projects. He is a member of the Fishers Chamber of Commerce and participates in Hamilton South Eastern High School's "Academy of Finance," is on HSE's Advisory Board, has served on HSE's Board of Directors for five years and represents HSE on the State Board of Advisors. Jeffrey Somers, Vice President - Cash Management Services

Cathy started working at our Avon office in April 2009, but has worked in the financial industry for more than 25 years - both in the Commercial and Retail sectors. She is committed to customer service and takes pride in creating value in the business relationships she serves. Cathy attended Indiana University and has participated in numerous bank-training classes.
