Michelle Hochstedler Wins Ameriana Scholarship

NEW CASTLE, Ind. (June 27, 2012) - The 2012 Ameriana Bank Paul W. Prior Scholarship has been awarded to Michelle Hochstedler from Knightstown, Ind.  She is a 2012 graduate of Knightstown Community High School, where she held leadership positions in Student Council, the National Honor Society and Teens About Serving the Country in addition to her active community volunteerism and participation in other student organizations.  Michelle was also a member of the varsity basketball and tennis teams and an East/West All-Star varsity volleyball player and captain.  Michelle will attend Anderson University in Fall 2012 as a nursing major.  She received her Certified Nursing Assistant license in December 2011 through New Castle Area Career Program - Nursing Vocational.  Michelle is the daughter of Greg and Dana Hochstedler, owners of Boondocks Farms in Knightstown.

The Paul W. Prior Scholarship honors Mr. Prior's contribution to Ameriana and recognizes his lifetime pursuit of academic excellence.  The annual scholarship is available to all Ameriana Bank customers and their immediate family members.
