Ameriana Names Gloria Corbin Bank Secrecy Act Officer
NEW CASTLE, Ind. (April 2, 2013) - Jerome J. Gassen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ameriana Bancorp (NASDAQ: ASBI), the holding company for Ameriana Bank, announced that Gloria Corbin has been promoted to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer.
In this position, Corbin will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the Bank's BSA Program.
Corbin began her career with Citizens Federal Savings and Loan in 1985 and joined Ameriana as a Customer Service Representative when teh two merged in 1988. She has held several positions throughout her tenure with Ameriana, including Loan Processor, Secretary of Loans and Subsidiaries, Staff Auditor and, most recently, Administrative Assistant of Compliance since 2003.
Corbin serves as treasurer and board member of the New Castle-Henry County Public Library's Friends of the Library group. In addition, she is active in her church and its monthly donations to Christian Love Center, and she distributed food for Second Harvest Food Pantry. She resides in New Castle, Ind., and has a daughter, Angela Nelson.
