Certificates of Deposit

Earn a higher rate of interest than standard savings accounts with an Ameriana certificate of deposit. There are a variety of terms available, from 91 days to up to seven years, and your funds are insured by the FDIC.

Loadable CDs

Start a disciplined savings plan with an Ameriana Loadable CD. It offers a higher interest rate than a traditional savings account with the flexibility to add money into it at any time. Here's some more good news:

• Earn a higher APY with a monthly automatic transfer of $50 or more
• Unlike a "traditional" CD, deposits are at a guaranteed rate
• Open an account with as little as $100
• Earn more interest than a regular savings account

Automatic transfer must be set up at account opening to receive a higher rate. Interest payable at maturity. Penalty for withdrawal is all accrued interest at time of withdrawal. Withdraws within the first six days after account opening will be charged seven days' interest. Any withdraw will close the account.  Account opening amounts under $500 must have automatic transfer of at least $50 per month.  $50,000 maximum.
