So much of our communication today takes place via email, and it’s easy to understand why:
While there are many benefits to communicating via email, it's important to remember that it's NOT a secure form of communication. Emails are easily intercepted, which means that any information they contain could be readily available. You should never include any personal information, such as your social security number, account number(s), PINs, passwords or other private information. Think of it this way - if it's information you wouldn't give a stranger, don't share it in an email.
